So, I just received me new 2013 5085e (it was NOS) with cab. Have always had an open station tractor with normal transmission, there is a lot to get used to, especially that power reverser!
One thing I'm finding a little awkward to get used to is having to go around to get into the cab to make adjustments to the loader controls or 3pt hitch arms when attaching implements. I was looking at the cab and it really looks like you could add hinges to the RH door to open it up to access the controls easier. I see in the parts catalog that the RH door parts are available. Anyone on here ever convert their RH door to open? Just curious.
Also, I put mounts on it for my 553 loader that I already had. The arms travel up and down really well, and the tilt down works great, but the tilt up is really slow. Any thoughts on what the issue could be? Only thing I could think of was maybe air in the hydraulic line? IF so, how would i get it out.
Thanks,
Scott
