Buying Advice Any Mahindra 3540 owners?

So, you aren't a dealer, and you aren't with Mahindra lol, and your attitude here isn't helpful to these owners who are suffering losses of time and money. No one who has spent thousands of hard earned money should have to endure the consequences of inferior quality control/testing.

I'm not here to bash Mahindra, but the only way they will become the next Kubota is to improve quality control and support their customers. You will notice a common theme with owners - complaints about leaks! Coincidence? I think not... coolant, hydraulic, and diesel - Mahindra has them all.

Never said I wasnt a dealer :thumbsup: I get on here to help folks.. these two didnt get on here asking for help the OP did... i gave my opinion

How are you helping anyone? Are you suggesting that someone should buy a product that is known to have issues?? If you are in fact a dealer, do you tell your customers that they are "butt hurt" when they complain about issues?

lol yalls tractors are not the only 3500 series out there... it is bad hearing about the issues yall are having but leaks are hardly problems that can be a quick fix.... id tell my customers how to try and fix them first before making the trip... and as far as your other question yeah but never had too...

A peace offering! I'll take it. Look - I think that things will eventually work out with the tractor (like to think that I'm an optimist). It's just frustrating that the tractor can't be like my Toyota or my wife's Honda - just add gas and change the oil and your good for 150,000+ miles!

Just sold my SR5 that had 310K on it.... other than the wheel asmbly flying off at 80mph and makin me pucker a bit she never had issues..

Im betting youll be good once you get some hours on her:thumbsup:

After looking around a lot I've found on various forums people who love their 35 series Mahindra. I guess the people who buy tractors who have a bad experience tend to be very vocal about their displeasure. At least I'm not reading about engines blowing up or transmissions failing. Still going to go look at Mahindra and MF this weekend and will probably look at Kioti next week. John Deere is out, the prices around here are nuts. Kubota I'm not sure about but I believe they are a bit cheaper than JD. Anyway the search goes on!

I will say that the 5 year warranty on the Mahindra was a big reason I purchased. Also, the Kubota dealer didn't really seem interested in making a deal and they charged to transport the tractor for warranty work. The Mahindra dealer doesn't charge me to transport the tractor for warranty work. I wish I was a little more mechanically inclined - maybe I would be singing Mahindra praises!
