Where do you get that bs? I have gotten top dollar for every one of my trucks at trade in. But then, I take care of mine...

Keep trading in as I love getting a good clean truck for cheap. Of course I won't buy Ford any more.

Haha, so true Will B! This new generation wouldn't know what to do in mud in their sissy trucks.

Buy it used and save thousands as Ford does not hold resale. Even if I traded it in at a Ford dealer.

This is not true at all. I just was at the dealer Friday. My 2012 F150 stickered new for $45,000. I paid about $39,000. It now has 71,000 miles and needs tires. Dealer was willing to give me $31,000. That seemed more than fair. I was looking at a $39,000 F350 gas. Wasn't like they were going to make a killing.

In my area my F150 would bring $35,000 and they would need to put tires on it. They are a Grand. So that leaves them 3K on the bone.

Jus for kicks I asked him to shoot me a trade in price on the Wife's Edge. 2013 with 91,000 miles. He said without seeing it he would do $20,000. Doesn't seem bad to me. We bought it for a tad of $28,000.

Ford must hold their value pretty well, at least the Super Duty's. While I was at the dealer looking at that truck, the salesman pointed out a nice '13 f-250 FX4 diesel with 68,000 miles for $49000. They had brand new trucks that were $55-57(diesel, Etc). Made no sense to even waste time looking at that used truck. It's too bad that sales manager wasn't wanting to deal though, that was a nice truck set up like I'd like(the one I stopped to look at). I don't think he thought I could afford it though because he tried to offer me an 15 F-150. His words were "if you are expecting 10-13k off then I can do it on a 15 f150". I said "you got any?" He said nope.lol That guy let a potential sale walk right out the door if he'd just worked with me some. I even told him if he was firm on the price would he be willing to throw in a free spray in liner or something? Nope, he kept going on and on about how he was "only making $500" on the deal. Yeah right. This is why I've never driven a Ford, they won't deal! GM and Dodge will and chase you out the door if you walk.

Gee, my 2015 F150 is only worth $16,000 (US) when my lease is up on October 1, with 30k miles.

So the dealer called me today to tell me they'd still give me the offer they gave me Saturday on the F250 I looked at. It's funny because when I was in the office the sales manager told me that price was "today and today only". Funny how that works huh? I told them their deal wasn't good enough Saturday which was why I didn't buy the truck, if they decide they can do better then let me know. We'll see if they call back or not.

^^^When I was Ford shopping I went by the big Ford Store with rows of trucks... the Salesman had to hike over to see me and I was really just there to look.

I did him the prices were a lot more than I would be comfortable paying... spent a little time talking and I did give him my information...

Didn't hear anything for about a week... he called and said he was willing to do right by me... so I shot a figure and he said no way could they come close and I said OK... then he said I should come down to talk and then I told him I know I made the right decision... except it was that I ordered a new truck from another Dealer... he acted shocked and said it will take months to get... my reply was for $6000 I can wait 10 weeks.
