We went from winter to spring in one day. 50 degrees today - the ground is still frozen but mud season is on the way. Won't get any more seat time for a while until it dries up some. Did some clean up and pulled out some ugly tops but mostly just enjoyed the weather today.

Yes, weather was great. Mud is already 4-6" deep here. I'm afraid to think what the tics and black flys are going to be like.

I got the buddies tractor put back together, but discovered another major problem. The cylinder rods hit the boom before the the stop limiters touch.

No but my house is on a ridge so no chance of it flooding. I'm an officer in my local fire department so I'll be focusing on that. We have a boat and a military 5-ton truck that we use for high water rescue. Should be an interesting few days.

having been a volunteer fireman, living on a major River, I can fully understand, you are going to be in the middle of it. Be safe.
I remember them telling us "don't let someone else's emergency become yours", and then we of course charge right in anyway.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

And please no cars drive in deep water for once...

I've quit planting peas, I've eaten so many peas in my life I can't even hardly chew them anymore I feel like they grow in my mouth. Focusing on green beans and butter beans for a while.
