Got a quote for a GC1705 with 60" mmm and FEL for $13,900. This does not include tax. Another dealer quoted me $250 more. What does everyone think about this? This is the price with the 3.49% interest. Any chance the deals will improve on the 1st of the month? Thanks.

I wish I knew what the deals will be come 3/1. Thinking about buying this weekend. Also planning on a Woods 60" rear blade assuming I can get a good deal. They are even available in Massey Red.

The deals are always unknown. Literally . . dealers are sent the deals sometime the first 2 days of the month. I watched one come into the finance department at the dealer. AGCO deliberately keeps it a secret so sales guys can't cut the deal as an either/or situation.

Its really tough to give pricing opinions when you consider the changes in regional areas. Closer to Georgia should be cheaper . . further away should be more. But size of dealer may create different profit requirements too. And accessories desired in the deal can make a difference too.

When I got my gc1715 I had filled rears, a brush guard, engine block heater and a genuine Massey mulcher deck installed plus that fantastic Massey insurance policy.

What nobody told me until I was starting to actually negotiate the final deal . . . was there were 5 or 6 financing options.. . . but I had always readbthere was 0% interest or cash deal with rebate. When I found out I could dp 5 finance choices withbrebates . . It opened up options for my desires.

Thanks for the reply. Any particular reason you had your rear tires filled? I'm planning on R4 tires. There is significant slope on my property. I plan to get a rear blade and will use that for ballast when operating FEL. I'm thinking of trying to purchase this weekend. We shall see!

I have considerable slope and some good sidehill slopes in our lawn (1.2 acres) and in our back lot which is very sloped too and brush cut but furrowed a fair amount.

I chose turf tires because of grass cutting and our steeper concrete sidewalks and driveway in the winter plowing abd snow bucket activities. In addition I'm on the snow covered lawn a bunch in winter and was very pleased at how easily I could manuever in 8 or more inches of snow going from house to back building and up/down back lawn slope.

I had them fill the tires because its all direct weight that doesn't effect the rear axle yet allows me to use the fel in summer with very little need for ballsst. Also when I adf ballast its much less and very 3 pt. Located . . so again . . Keeps everything close and tight to tractor.

I added a quick attach for my fel which also makes things vety convenient for switching between no bucket, bucket, or forks. Everything I have is from 2015 buys and this year I hope to add a mini grapple and remotes . . but its all about when money comes in :)

Went ahead and pulled the trigger today. GC1705 with FEL, 60" belly mower, industrial tires, and also ordered a Woods 54" Grading Scraper with scarifiers. I'm expecting delivery sometime next week. Can't wait to get to work on my property!

Congradulations, dude. You'll be happy with it, as most who have bought this unit are.
