I am a bit curious as to the point the author of the quiz is trying to make. Is he saying that upper class folks are out of touch with life in the U.S. as it exists for most of us? Is this a bad thing? Isn't that the idea...to work hard, do well and give your family a good life and a boost up? You don't have to live the life of a common laborer or to live in a slum or spend a couple years in prison to know that it sucks. I have had a taste of life on the bottom and life at the top and believe me, the top is better.
So I'm not sure this endeavor is supposed to fill me with guilt, pride, shame or release me from my ignorance. The upper class will basically still wield power overall, just as they have since time immemorial and they tend to hold on to it, barring something like the French revolution or the overthrow of the Czar. If the author is advocating change, I wonder what he suggests that will be of benefit. As the Great Teacher once said, "The poor you will have with you always".
