This is about 48' long. To long to navigate through the woods and how. But I lifted it to cut into smaller pieces

Isn't it great not having to bend over to cut firewood or worry about keeping the saw out of the dirt? My loader is quite a bit stronger than my backhoe so I use the loader and grapple to cut the bigger pieces.

Don't get me wrong. Not a die hard (blind) JD fan by any means. But is there anything nicer then a great summer day, a (perfectly clean) Green and Yellow JD tractor, some other well maintained ( and capable) equipment and a job well done?

got that wood i picked up milled. used a steam engine though. and an old IH to move some other logs
