A most recent example; Phelps is being reported right now as qualifying for RECORD fifth Olympic's, while an American woman has already actually won a individual metal in FIVE Olympic's in a row. Why don't you know her name? Why have you never heard about her. The agenda, she's a skeet shooter, and since the main stream is anti guns you'll never hear about her or her sport. The point is phelps is just one of many and hasn't set any multi Olympic record yet, best he could do is tie a girl at this point if he can metal and as we all the first to do something is only person who counts. So who cares about phelps. Been done... HS

Journalism .. You mention Mitchum; I thought of Gable & Gable types who played news guys. There was always a story line where
the "chief" of paper questioned the investigative reporter. Words like, "you better be right Clark, or it's your job". Usually the reporter
continued on walking a thin line. Calls story in, gets threatened again by "chief", "You have good sources & facts? If your wrong it's
your job." Then paper runs story.

Today the truth doesn't count. I believe regular news is now National enquirer, National Insider, globe etc., news like in super market
papers at register. ......Truth doesn't count, ratings do.

So many articles often mention a Street and even a town name.
Problem is that there are hundreds of 'main streets' and today probably 10 of every town name you can think of.
Also seems many reporters have not heard of spell check.
