I would have figured H110 or Winchester 296 for those 44 mag loads Wasn't 2400 old Elmers favorite wasn't it?

I like titegroup for a variety of handgun loads.

Do y'all order powders or do they stock it near you. I think some of the bass pro sell it, but if you have to pay the Haz Mat it gets pretty expensive for small amounts. Primers are stocked at Academy, and projectiles (maybe not a huge selection, but at least something in most calibers)

I have an old Lee Classic in .270 Win, and I've seen some Lee presses for cheap, some even with dies for less than $50 used (although rarely ever in one of My calibers...), it just seems like there's no Trying it, even with a free/cheap press without being into it for a couple hundred,

I buy most of reloading on the net ,mail order or stores. I wish ups would drop that haz mat fee to 15.00

Non bottleneck cartridges can be gotten into cheap.

25$ lee press, 28$ die set and the safety scale.. You will be in for less than a bill.

Get to bottlenecks, then you need trimmers, etc

Yeah, there is a new Dicks and they are building a Bass Pro, both about 45 minutes from me in Gainesville. Every time I almost talk my self into giving it a try, I remember I need a press, primmers, dies, like 3 diffrent powders, .355, .365, .310 (125 gr and 185 gr), .277, and .40 projectiles...

I would stay well away from a lee press. Every one I have seen is junk. There's a reason they are $25. I picked up a RCBS rock chucker at a gun show for $45. It's 100 times better than the lee presses. You are going to want a primer tool because the one build into the press is slow. Then you are going to want a powder dropper because measuring every charge on a scale is slow.

I have a Lee press I like the press and their crimp - their factory is not to far from me.

Hmm, 9mm Para, 9mm Mak, .40 S&W, .270 Win, 7.62x25, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54r
with possible .32 acp or .380 ACP in the future; oh and .410 shells would be nice, and .30 Carbine...

Do you have to resize/trim for bolt action rifles, or just auto loaders?

I never had to use the trimer on 223 I hear if you load Em to next to max then you might
