It does say dual axel so about 7k but the trailer takes up 2k. What is the weight of your tractor?

5k w/ fel and brush cutter. That would be maxed out for this trailer I guess.

Get a 20ft. trailer with a rating of 9900#. It will have two 5200# axles but rated under 10k so you won't have to upgrade your driver's license to a class A or CDL.

Would a Ford F150 with 4.6 liter engine pull this ok?

Yes I would recommend a minimum of tandem 5200 lb axles for that tractor. As said you need to add in the weight of the trailer and the tractor. Trailer is going to be 2000 lbs or more so you are looking at 7000lbs as a minimum. What if you want to haul something else o there t the same time such as other implements or materials?

Check with your state some states do require a CDL for any trailer over 10k but most don't. If yours does get a trailer with two 5200 axles and have it derated to 9999. If your state doesn't have the stupid 10k law you might look at trailers with two 7000lb axles. These trailers have 8 lug 16" wheels which are much stouter, and will give you room to grow. I have posted this numerous times but I tow numerous trailers tons of miles and anytime I have one loaded to anywhere near the capacity things break. Tires blow out, axles get bent, bearing issues, etc. Anytime the trailer has ample rating over the actual load I get thousands of trouble free miles.

Trailers for most people are something you will buy and have for many many years and use for lots of things. I don't get why people cheap out and get one that is barely adequate for the job at the time of purchase. But something good and it will serve you well for years to come. The price difference isn't too terrible.
