What options would YOU invent for a new truck?

I would invent a full rocker panel/cab corner enclosed flush system. Also a factory color matched flatbed option would be swell.

Do away with leaf springs and go to auto leveling air bags like a semi.

More up fitter switches like fords have.

Integrated backup and bed cameras for hooking up bumper pull and gooseneck hitches.

Bright rear facing lights with a switch for off and on.

Easier fuel filter changes on diesels. All of them are a pain. Why not a canister style under the truck that is easy to change.

Air ride seats.

6 speed manual transmission
Manual locking hubs.
Shift lever 4wd.
Center differential lock.
Cable lockers for each axle.
Air bags on the rear with compressor integrated in controls.
Ac outlet in the rear bed for my arb refrigerator.

I wish some company would make this.

I would like a "from the factory" (not a third party built/added) flat bed with under the bed tool boxes

Duals that don't make the truck wider.

A truly flat floor so when you fold the back seats up to load cargo inside there is not even a small hump to deal with.

Also, fold up seats that still have space behind them for a "gun case" (I have a buried wire/valve locator in a gun case style box and no place to store it)

ALL the windows to operate by single press auto up and down, not just the driver's window and/or not just auto down. (I have a Nissan Titan that does both front windows but not the back windows)

I would like a "power down" type cruise control.(gives you control of your speed up to a preset point) Conventional cruise control is fixed speed and will pitchfork you into corners on rural roads.

I would like - 300 cubic inch straight 6, 4-speed stick shift, manual windows, a suspension designed to haul a load, not ride like a cream puff, manual-lever activated 4WD and at a price not approaching the national debt.

4WD sized like a '90s Sonoma regular cab long bed. 225 HP and 25MPG. Cloth seats, cruise, good sound system.

Keyless entry key fob should unlock the doors, then if I wish, push it 2 more times and ALL the windows go down. Would be sweet in the summer to let the oven heat out.

My 2015 Silverado does this ...
