Hating cancer; it took my Mom

Robert, I know what you are going through. I lost my mom in January 2015 to her second round of cancer. She was 71. It will hurt like crazy, and slowly you will be able to focus on the good times you had with her.

My sympathies...I too lost my mom to the disease...it sucks...!

Sorry man, it does suck bad. Lost mine at 42 to it. The day I turned 42 was hard realizing how young she was and how much she missed.

Lost my mother last year. She was 96. She was a cancer survivor. Had Colon Cancer and endured the consequences of the operation and treatment for 17 years. Was great to have her for those years. A massive stroke took her last August.

Watched my brother (50 yr old) die from cancer, still find myself wanting to email him or text something..

My parents were trying to sell their place. We got an offer a couple days after she passed.

I think our hard time is coming, because we have to go thru all her stuff. Deciding what to do with it and downsizing will be hard.
