That's something interesting about moles.... when it gets dry, and the worms go deep, the moles go deep, too. And then you don't notice them because their tunnels aren't pushing up your lawn. I also read that they have twice the amount of red blood cells per measure as humans. That's how they can breath in tunnels where oxygen is scarce.
