It is very strange to me that your HOA makes you brick your equipment barn of all things! I've never lived anywhere fancy enough to have a HOA but I don't think I'd like it.

There is definitely pros and cons that's for sure. I am fortunate there is only about 7 rules in the sub. I think it is for the greater good as some of my friends live in subs that have pages upon pages of rules and restrictions which I could not deal with. I am still able to shoot guns, fish (my sweet blue gill lol) ride quads etc. The rules are mainly in regards to the structures. As for the brick face, I didn't have to go all the way to the top or do the extra detail (or even do what I did on the sides). However, it does cost a little more but I'll be happy to look at it everyday. Actually, I've always liked old buildings and "factory" type shops. This to me is really turning out to look like that to me.

I like the brick work on the corners, it really adds a lot.

Fifty years from now someone will think that is a really cool building. Brick lasts a long long time. Great job!

Well, I hate to now bring on the boring part as the doors are going to be plain white. The will of course be insulated but they will just be white to match the garage doors on the house.
