Not really. We where fishing at the pond this evening and this group of six wild hogs showed up on the dam. I'm sure the grass will be all tore up there, but at least it was fun seeing them.

We're fortunate enough not to have wild hogs, so I don't know much about them. Can you tell if those are razor backs, domestic hogs gone wild, or a mix?

From personal experience I can say that if you shoot one of those on the dam, it will roll down into the water. Then you really will be fishing for hogs. I had to go get the tractor to pull that heavy, wet bastard up the slippery dam. Surf and turf dinner.

Hogs are very common around here. We shoot them year round and they just keep coming back. There are a lot more hogs then deer here. This group has been showing up at the same time for the last couple of days. We have company coming this weekend and he has never shot a hog, so we are waiting until they get here to see what happens. Then after they leave, Karen will shoot them. I've shot enough of them that it's not a big deal anymore. She has shot 3 so far, and is excited to get another. She has a youth model Remington 700 in 7mm-08 that she loves. She also uses it for shooting snakes and beavers. Best shot I saw her make was hitting a swimming beaver in the head at 100 yards!!!!
