Went and drove the Cam-am , really wanted to love it but couldn't get past the rubber belt issues. Drove the new Honda, wow, they did their homework ! Six speed auto gear drive, very impressed!

Yeah, they look like a good design. Honda has used similar drive systems before and were successful.

I guess the thing with CanAm is that they are the "Ski-Doo" company that has made quality snowmobiles for decades. Worth a look I think. I did venture into their site yesterday but think they might be beyond my budget. I was hoping to keep the cost at around $10,000 for a decent 2 seat machine with a decent sized cargo bed. I guess I was an optimist going in because from what I see it ain't gonna happen. Waiting for quotes from a few dealers now and will be taking a long drive on Monday.

I just bought a new car for less money, ouch.....

The Chrysler Jeep Dealer is advertising brand new Jeeps at $9,999 after all rebates and promotions...

Of course they are stripped down 4 cyl manual transmission but under 10k...

Two years ago we purchased a Toro Workmaster for our Optimist Club. The unit was an off lease unit with 1200 hours. We gave $3500 for it. I was so impressed with the build quality a reliability of it I found one for myself. I really like it and wifey likes it also. It serves my needs well. It is not for everybody.

Can't possibly be a Wrangler...that Jeep has to be the most profitable vehicle ever sold...a tin can on wheels with no luxury appointments whatsoever (I bought one in 2001...my son still has it).

I paid $1000 for my Samurai and worth every penny... had it almost 20 years and ZERO repairs... just use if off road mostly and to pickup fuel for the equipment.

Couple friends of mine have Can-Am ATVs. They seem to be very well built.

Yes, I believe you are overly optimistic to expect under 10 grand for a UTV.

Keep us posted on your progress. Someone later will benefit from your leg work. :)
