This class action suit must be serious. I went to buy a pair of line men's pliers and they were at full price! I stalked out and will come back when they are at regular sale price less 20%.

Regarding pricing, my neighbor recently showed me a sale paper from HF that had 3 different prices for a motorcycle lift in the same paper.

I've noticed that with any number of items in their flyers.

Last fall I bought the HF electric 7amp pole saw for $59. I'm impressed! Did some serious pruning this winter cutting up to 5in branches and it cut great! I figured I would get one job out of it... not so! Lightweight but sturdy enough for occasional use around the house. Trimmed up a bunch of lower branches on my evergreen trees as well. Wait for a parking lot sale or use the 20% coupon. Don't pay the $84.99 price.

Here's one I absolutely love. It's the old triangular-shaped Pittsburgh ratchet stubby screwdriver. I keep it in my small tool bag, and use the thing all the time. Had it for years, and never see it anymore. This was a well-made little tool.

That's a good price! I bought it for my son for xmas back in October for $289.00 w/coupon. Lowest I saw watching for a year. There are two model numbers, 61609 and 67831. I haven't discovered a difference... maybe the supplier.

Edit: Actually the price might have been $299.99. As I recall I got there a day late but I had called the previous day to be sure of stock and asked if they would honor the coupon. The manager said yes but when they scanned it in I think the price was $329.99, I explained I had called the day before so the cashier got approval and had to manually enter the price. I think she erred in my favor by $10.00. Didn't notice until I got home and looked harder at the receipt. The $299 might indeed be best price.

The lowest price I've found was $295 last summer.

But seriously - does anyone know of a database/web sit that keeps track of HF's past sales prices?
Often I "need" something but it's not critical NOW, I can wait.

I've noticed that with a lot of their products, two different SKU numbers for what appears to be the same product. Anyone know why that is?

Different sources of the same product sounds like a good guess to me. It has been that way for years so there is a reason I am sure. If we ever get in a war with China it is going to be hard on HF, WM and many other retailers.
