CUT Hour meter broken - what to do?

My 4400 fuel gauge will spin all the way around and get stuck sometimes. Now I can have the cluster out and back in about 30 minutes, about 5 minutes of that is windexing the glass for dirt and fingerprints. I'd assume yours is similar effort to get out but not sure if it is glued together on the back side.

Hmmm Does yours have tilt steering wheel? Seems like that is the gotcha on mine.

Yes I tilt the steering wheel down to pull the dash up which is held on with the 4 Phillips head screws that are easy to get to. Then there's about 8-10 small Phillips head screws that attach the cluster to the dash from the inside. If I remember correctly once those screws are out the glass can come out, so be careful it doesn't fall out on you.

Good to see you found a replacement for the hour meter. And that it was an easy install/fix. Would you have the source with part no. for that hour meter? Was a fast fix.

I actually ordered a complete hour meter assembly that almost certainly has the same components. It cost a bit more but I'll have it Monday.

Still a LOT cheaper.
