My wife bought a new Volvo model 240 back in 1984 ran it 335,000 miles.No rust issues when we sold it after 10 years.We live in Michigan where the salt the roads.Go figure Volvo must use goo sheet metal.

Volvo is a Swedish company, not German. Didn't Volvo get caught reinforcing some vehicles used in commercials with 2x4's way back in the 80's?

Volvo is Swedish built. Not sure if they have parent company.

Ford sold volvo to the communist a few years ago. Geely is now the parent company
