Ran over to a nearby JD dealer today to pick up two bushings for a JD 261 grooming mower that I'm rebuilding and saw this 'bota sitting on their lot. It's used, and I believe it's for sale. Not affiliated with them, but if anyone is interested, I can give you their phone number.

In my locale I don't think I have ever seen that many open station tractors. Most all of them in 5xxx and up are cab tractors.

Poor little 'ranga' in a field of green... at least it's got a hat on to protect it from the sun.

[The traditional Aussie nickname for a 'ginger' is "Bluey". :eek:ath:]

If I am not mistaken, all of those tractors in that pic are used units that are for sale. If that is correct, I believe they are trade-in's from one of the local peach growers. I didn't take the time to ask as I was on my lunch break. I do know that is the "used lot" for tractors, all their new ones are on the other side of the parking lot. The area around that dealer has a LOT of peach orchards. Most of the people working for the peach growers are of immigrant nature, I guess they aren't worthy of cabs lol. I believe that, in general, you just don't see as many cab tractors here in the deep south, as you will in the great "white" north.

Those are probably off lease units. Good option to save some $$$ and still get a great tractor.
