What did you guys pay for your MX5200 HST 4x4?

I'm at $36,100 with the following:

-L1065 Loader with 3rd function
-72" heavy duty bucket with bolt on cutting edge
-3 welded hooks onto bucket
-dual rear remotes
-loaded tires
-block heater
-front and rear LED lights on separate switches

Thank you!

Pricing structure will be based on region of country, dealer competition, and company directed incentives. Usually prices are lower in the southeast versus northeast. I would get several quotes from my closest dealers and then check with an out of state dealer to comparison shop. You can weigh your decision on price, dealer service, and location...not necessarily in any order of preference. I was fortunate to have an established dealer within 2 miles of where I work They have been more than fair with me. To date I have had no issues with my tractor. I did have a hydraulic coupler go bad on my third function valve and they gave me a new one no questions asked. Good luck and keep us posted.

If your handy and have the means I wouldn't be paying dealer prices or labor for the hooks or led lights. Those are easy enough at home. To be honest I haven't kept up with the prices of kubota tractors but that seems really high to me???

Going to "build my kubota" on their website......That seems to be right at MSRP.

Though there is no option on loading tires, bucket hooks, block heater or the LED worklights, so that must be a dealer only thing. And R4 vs R1 tires make a difference in price too.

But all the options you select, with R4 tires puts the total MSRP at 36.2K Ag tires knock off $200.

Typically ~15% off MSRP is about the norm. So the tractor "should" be in the $31000 ballpark.

Just how much are you getting charged for the block heater, hooks, LED lights and Loaded tires? And does your 36k price include tax and all that?

Price does not include tax, led lights $400, hooks $65, block heater and loader tires I do not know they send all there tractors out standard with those. The next question is I know I can save a ton of money heading 10-12hrs out of state even paying for fuel to haul it back makes a huge savings. My only issue is getting is serviced and warranty work done with the local dealer

I feel like you should be able to get another $2000-2500 off. The loaded tires are worth about $400. The block heater costs $65 plus installation. So perhaps they are giving you $1000 off MSRP. 10% would be 3600, so it seems like you have plenty of room to negotiate. Regarding warranty and service, I never had any warranty work, but for regular service nobody ever asks where I purchased, they just do what I ask to have done.

How bad are they going to stick it to you on service if they aren't coming off msrp? I would shop another local or semi local dealer and see if they want your business. I would not buy from who your talking to currently

I know they have to service the kubota regardless of where I purchased it from, but the question is whether they go to battle for me in warranty work or if they "dick" around with getting my tractor in for service, probably always be on the bottom of the list.

I understand that. How close is the next dealership? If you need something out of work it sounds like they will be charging your thru the teeth if they won't come any off msrp. Industry standard seems to be 10-15%. Nothing is a slap in the face
