I have dash cam in 2 vehicles. Love them. Unbelievable the stuff people do.
I am beginning to see the benefit of this, and have been considering one for a while
Can you "plead the 5th" with your footage? Or is it required to be submitted? Maybe if you do something idiotic it can be deleted accidentally?Me too... in fact my wife bought me one for my F150 for xmas from Costco. Seemed very nice but I ended up returning it... now I am sort wondering why I 'chickened out'. Maybe I was worried it would incriminate me?

Same here. I'd like to have one pointing out of every side of all of my vehicles.
Apparently we prefer people to take responsibility for their own actions. Why do you want to be the "nanny state" and actually warn them of a potential problem?! Communist.
(Disclaimer: please infer pointed sarcasm contained in the above comment)*
*I apologize to the AM radio listeners for the "nanny state" disclaimer above.
The nanny state doesn't warn people of issues, it prevents them from getting into them (or tries). Along with preventing them from doing a lot of things they might actually want to do. But good try on the sarcasm. Just keep trying...
Another .webm so it can't be inserted here.
Impatient trucker starts across tracks before huge overhang from last flatcar has cleared the crossing ... yep.
Well at least his load was tied down securely.
