If coffee could only taste as good as it smells

It is the juice that a roast let's out as it is cooking. You drip it back over the sandwich or potatoes and meat or what have you. It is much better than gravy in my opinion.I am intrigued....... What is "au jus"??
Scotch drinkers say it takes an acquired taste...I always wondered why anyone would want to acquire a taste for something that smells like a cross between horse manure and toe jam sneakers...?... I always enjoyed the smell. Coffee tastes nothing like it smells....... How can that be????? :confused3:

IMO the best way to enjoy the actual taste of coffee (like the smell) is in something like a milk shake (coffee and vanilla ice cream)...
