Cool beans, wasn't aware of this or the LOW adjustment on the valves, thanks Wakey and Gem99ultra
I have a few of those style, some times you need more than one.

I DO like the ones by Lodge better though...

I had the exact same stove. Loved it!

On another note, gas appliances tend to be built with higher btus now - it痴 a marketing thing.

Also how old it the regulator on your propane tank/line. They don稚 last forever and should be replaced every 10 years.

Enjoy!

Hey Marchana, I don't believe my tank regulator would be a problem. It is not even a year old. We bought a buried tank and had it put in last spring. I expect the adjustment screws will solve the problem, but I am not there right now... I'll have to wait a couple of weeks!

The electronic igniter may not work, but everything will operate when started with a match.

The reason I asked was a Lowes sales rep said the new ones had something like valve that had to have electricity to allow gas to flow.

Mine works just fine by lighting it with a match...

Not that, that matters much, as you can always cook on a BBQ or in my case, I also have a wood fired cook stove in my garage that's on wheels. Just push it outside and fire it up with scrap off my BSM.

We had a gas stove that you could light the burners with a match if the power was out, but you could not light the oven. There was an electronic igniter block that had to heat up before the gas valve would open. No way to light it manually.

I see you have the high BTU burner as well, did you get the wok cradle? 20171224_102651.jpg

No wok cradle, Wakey. We use a large cast iron skillet for most things. It was a 都econd from the lodge store and was super cheap with a tight fitting lid. You cannot tell it is a second.
