That is some serious snow. Lived in those parts and I remember doing a lot of shoveling but never 5'.

I'd take some of that. Southern Colorado is in a bad way. Haven't had any significant snow here yet this season.

I've always lived in the south, and large snows are completely foreign to me. Sometimes I wonder why those snowy areas are even inhabited in the winter.

Yup, hardly makes the news and life goes on there. What do you have in Parish, Home of Carl T Rock? I'm down on the flat side of the lake and we have a little over a foot I would guess. City of Oswego got hit though.
