Just to be clear, are you saying that "Man Made Global Warming" isn't a hoax?

I said "Global Warming is no "Hoax", it's reality." We should acknowledge the problem and focus on a solution rather than argue about the cause. Arguing does nothing but delay the solution. If the infamous Al Gore "tipping point" occurs and Global Warming becomes self-sustainable/uncontrollable, the Earth could become another Venus (800* F)! We are playing with fire (literally and figuratively).

I think this is one of the more reasonable things I have read here.

Has anyone in the frost belt - not seen a change in first and last frost dates in the last 30 years? We've had a change for fall frost dates by a month plus!

Nope, pretty much stayed the same around here (NE Ohio). I've got some beautiful Hostas that frequently need frost protection before the end of May.

Let's assume Climate Change is happening. The earth has had much higher Temperatures and CO2 concentrations in the past. It has never become a runaway system. Why would it now?

You do realize I hope that the CO2 levels of 400 ppm is Parts per Million. It is a very very minor gas in the atmosphere. Also a doubling of the CO2 from 200 to 400 would only result in a bit more than 1ｰC increase in average temperature. 400 to 800, another 1ｰC.

I am not sure I fully believe the increase in average temperature calculations. What was the method of measurement then versus now? What is the measurement error of the device/methodology then versus now?

If I measure a stick with a carpenter's ruler and then with a machinist's ruler and the measurement changes does that mean my stick grew or shrunk?

Please explain how taxes and giving money away through the Paris accords will stop or reverse climate change?

I sure hope global warming is here. Life will be much better for most of us when it finally gets here. Too darn cold to tell now though. Lets take up this argument next summer when the "warmist" will trot out how hot it is.

So you are cold. Check the west coast, way above normal (42 yesterdy = normal wouild be 29), Geese already flying north to the Arctic...which is also way above normal. Climate is bases on averagine many different readings all over the world for 20-30 yeras. Not what you see looking ou t the back window. But then you know that...or should. I learned it way back in grade school.

An honest question would be one you want to know the answer to. That would naturally cause you to pursue more information from answers that were unclear in some way, and to otherwise assist technical interchange by defining your assumptions that gave rise to the question in the 1st place.​

Instead, you waited til you got pablum in successively refined doses.

So, either you cant think, or you knew the answer and were testing to see if anyone else could in the blind figure out requisite key words for your pleasure.​

I quit gardening some 30 years ago so haven't paid any attention to freeze dates. Here in the Pacific Northwest winters are definitely way milder than they were when I was a kid.

Yes, Brown bears have moved their range far enough north that they can...and have cross bred with Polar Bears. You may have been joking but it struck gold.
