OK, took me a DAY, but I got through all of these. Interesting reading, while some of you like to poke each other.
My two cents....I believe we are impacting our environment. You can call it global warming, climate change, WHATEVER. I DON'T see how *anyone* can say MAN isn't negatively impacting our environment.
Having said that, the real question becomes "how much has man negatively impacted our environment?"
THIS is where I believe blatant misinformation continues.
I do NOT believe this earth was created (I guess that would be another discussion, huh?

) to support 8 Billion people.
I do NOT believe it is healthy for this earth to have MILLIONS of people living in one clump together (NY, LA London, etc.)...these epicenters have massive amounts of pollution, etc. due to the population density.
What can MAN do about it? I guess the first thing would be NOT to have these population epicenters. But we ALL know that will never change. And this (IMHO) is where "politics" get dragged in. The "left" doesn't want to change their way, they want others to change.
I have NO issues with making changes to my lifestyle if I think it's PRODUCTIVE. We moved FROM the Dallas area to rural upstate NY. We bought 32 acres. We put in 26 solar panels. We have ALL LED lighting inside the house. We WANTED to go off-grid completely, but Tesla screwed us (another subject).
What I don't appreciate is someone telling me about climate change as they sit in a large city....etc. That's why I get a hearty chuckle when I read about "climate change conferences" where "everyone" flew in on jets, etc. to attend.
If we want to have BALANCED, PRODUCTIVE discussions, then we need to weed out the misinformation (on both sides) and focus on TRUE facts, not inflated ones designed to illicit emotional responses.
