All of those little differences are not noticed by the hobby user. But in your case those issues become paramount.

I've never ran one, but I hear complaints about the seat being placed too far rearward in the JD machines? Results in poor visibility without leaning forward out of the seat?

Are you talking about the JD CTL's or the skip loader?

The complaints I heard were on the CTLs. Can't remember a specific model.

Hmm... I ran a JD 323E in the fall and liked the cab and seat. Forgot to mention it in the above posts. The Kubota cab is nicer, but the JD felt more "industrial" if that makes sense... Very rugged.

Did you notice a difference in seating position?? Have had two different JD owners complain about that. But I don't know what their comparisons were either.

I honestly can't say that I remember anything negative about the seat or seating position in the JD track machine. The foot area is a little cramped but that's about it. With that said, I didn't spend a full day in one so it might be something you only notice if you're putting heavy hours into it.

I put a full day in the Kubota and the Tak and both of those cabs are top notch. I would give the nod to the Kubota for the cab and interior. I also like the loader on the Kubota better than the Tak. I felt like the Tak a little bit more pushing power.

Used one at work many years ago... it seemed to overheat all the time in summer...think she has too much engine and too small radiator. Wanted to try adding some kind of fan to push more air through radiator, but never did that / replaced with JD 5065.

According to the gauge my 3910 runs hot, right up against the red. I never have to add coolant.

Well i checked out this one today... Local to me. Ran really well. Has a "quick attach" bucket and forks. Nice heavy implements. Brakes need adjusting. Downside is that the cab is pretty rusted. It also doesn't have rear remotes, so they're gonna get back with me this week on pricing to add remotes. It's at a New Holland dealership who had been around a long time, so I'm confident at least that they could source and install the right parts. Price is decent but the cab might be too rusted... Will have to see what could be done regarding that. Also needs rear tires.

If the brakes are anything like my 575 there is no adjustment. More likely the discs are worn and or the cylinders are leaking into the rear axle. About a $3000 fix at my dealer.
