What about the new Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5W-40 synthetic engine oil?

Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5W-40 is a new full synthetic engine oil and I happened to get a great deal on some recently and I love synthetic. Here's the spec sheet:

Normally I use T-6 Rotella or Deere full synthetic 5W40 in newer Kubotas and Deere. Anyone see any issues with using it for ag equipment like this?

Should be good stuff, probably group III hydrotreated, not group IV PAO-based like M1. I'd get it if it came in 5w30. That's what I'm running now in my diesel engines. Just buy it at the VW dealership for both tractor and Isuzu diesel generator.

If it was good for our VW TDI for 70k miles and 10k changes, it's good for my other diesel stuff. It's Castrol. **** it. Cannot get M1 ESP 5w or 0w30 locally.

I got 5 gallon pails for $115 and then 12% off of that. Then got a $60 rebate per pail for a two pail maximum. How could I lose for $38 for a 5 gallon pail? That's $1.90 a quart for state of the art diesel oil. To me, Mobil is either the best there is or close enough to the next in line. Bought it at Rural King.

This is the second year that I got super oil deals around the black Friday shopping thing in late November.

Ya they have that oil at advanced auto. I was ready to get the stuff until I found amsoil.

You can't expect Exxon Mobil to make a mess out of heavy duty engine oils like fleets of OTR trucks use for millions of miles and high powered off road equipment that lift and transport thousands of tons. Probably not a dimes worth of difference in the leading Chevron, Mobil, and Shell oils. I still use T-6 in my Bransons. Not looking as ww has great prices on T-6 but if somebody stuck some 5-40 Delvac in front of me at half price I would indulge the offer and go back to T-6 when consumed.

That's what I thought too. $38 for a 5 gallon pail caught my interest. That's a heck of a deal.

The rebate offer is 12.00 a gallon jug up to 10 jugs, or 60.00 per 5 gal pail up to 6 pails, and runs all year.
Just make sure you buy from a listed retailer.
I just got 5 gallons a Mills Fleet farm for 24.00 a gal. - 12.00 rebate is 12.00 a gallon for top shelf oil.
I use Mobil 1 synthetic in all my vehicles and now my 2017 2032r is on the list.
I now have enough oil for 4 changes or in my case 4 years at 100 hrs a year.
Great deal-Great oil.
