Near as I can tell, a lot of people are unbalanced.

Just to clarify, I am not being serious. Flat earth theory is ludicrous.

Actually perfect proof it痴 FLAT! If it was round he壇 fall off! Think about it!

Why would you fall off? Think about it.

No gravity in space. Wait that’s probably a hoax and the earth is sitting on a stand and not actually floating.

No gravity in space. Wait that’s probably a hoax and the earth is sitting on a stand and not actually floating.

Some folks think the earth is sitting on the backs of 3 really big elephants. And there is plenty of gravity in space. Sure the further you get from the earth the less the gravitational force from the earth is, but there is still gravitational forces acting on you.

I am sure many have not really thought thru why a satellite orbiting the earth actually orbits the earth. The gravitational force is pulling the satellite back down to the center of the earth, but the centripetal force that was imparted into the satellite by its launch and the extreme speed it is traveling wants to fling the satellite out of orbit and into outer space. But the interaction of the two forces are in balance when a satellite is in orbit and and the satellite transcribes a circular path. At least for a while. There are always other forces working on the satellite to slow it down and lose energy. As a satellite slows, it get closer to the earth, and the gravitational force is stronger and a cascading effect pulls the satellite ever closer until it starts bumping into more and more air molecules. Poof!. Satellites have to burn fuel to stay in balance.

Of course I don't have a clue how this could work on a flat earth.
