I researched most of the different brands for about a month and looked at many on dealer sites. Lots of good dump trailers out there but finally decided on a 6x12 MaxxD. They made a few changes for 2018. The stake pockets are now not incorporated into the side wall but on the outside. The ramps don't hang on the side anymore but are under the dump body. Two good improvements. Also has 10 g. floor and walls and the tarp is standard and not an option. Has the scissors lift. Price was good and the dealer was friendly and helpful.

Looks great! Buying it is rough as they cost a small fortune. I can say that as the years pass I am still glad I bit the bullet and bought one and find I use it more than I thought. Even use it for lumber instead of the flat bed so I can back it up and slide it right out.

I like the updates. It does appear to be a stronger design. I bought their 6x12 last fall. They also upgraded the 6x12 last year to a 12k trailer. No regrets. The only thing I didn’t like after I bought it was the wiring. I could see future issues possibly arising where the wires were running in and out of the frame. Some sharp edges in there, so added some wire loom protection to prevent chaffing. Might have never caused an issue, but didn’t want to give it a chance. I have loaded it heavy with dirt and rock, and it didn’t even seem to phase the lift system at all.

Most around that size are between $5800 and $6000.
