Is that a 2x4 or 4x4 base?? what are you using for floor material?? thickness??
I'm stealing your idea.. hope you don't mind..??

Vents are as follows, the two aluminum you see on the front, mirror image on the back. The fixed gable vent on the left side that you can see and then the powered fan/louver type on the right. I think it’s an 8”x8”.

The only other modifications are a 3/4” plywood floor, the 4”x4” base and a piece of aluminum on the back wall, opposite the muffler to help dissipate heat.

Runs well all closed up, biggest test was about 4 hours a few weeks ago when some jack hit a pole. No issues.

Forgot, closed “H” for the base, leveled and filled with stone. I used lag bolts and screwed into the plywood, through the bottom of the shed and into the base, to tie it all together.

I’m about $300 into the shed, all in(including the charger) The shed was $189, but around Black Friday they sell them for around $110 I think.

Solar for the batt, wasn’t going to but wanted it easy for the wife.

There is a round 2” hole next to the fixed gable vent to run the house plug through. It’s just covered with a flap when not in use.

Steal away, I stole it from YouTube guys...

A lot of them bothered with running the exhaust out, using stove pipe or similar.

I saw no need, the powered vent is in line with the exhaust. The shed sits about 12’ away from the house.

Standard Suncast shed from Loweç—´. Vents all around and a small powered gable vent on the exhaust side (right) that gets plugged into the genny. HF 8750, in there.

Have monitored how warm it gets in the shed all closed up with the genny running? Has the heat deformed the plastic at all? What size/type fan are you running?

Another question would be how hot is to hot to run an air cooled genny?

Do you have to worry about overcharging the small battery with the solar charger?

How often and how long would your maintenance runs have to be to insure a fully charged battery? I know this will vary with the age/condition of the battery, just looking for a ballpark.

I have a log home so I built a log generator shed using landscape timbers. The roof is on hinges, and opens up 90 degrees with help of gas shocks. I use the tractor to lift the generator out of the shed for maintenance etc. My generator is a Honda and I extended the exhaust pipe so it goes though a hole in the wall. The roof is 4" wider than the walls, so there is a 4" air gap all around the top of the shed to provide fresh air to the generator. I got the concrete pad from my father-in-law who was getting rid of a concrete patio. He cut me a piece 4'x4' and brought it over one day.

I have yet to stain the shed, and I want to add a float charger to the shed to keep the generator battery topped off. That's my only complaint with the Honda generator - no pull cord so if the battery is weak or dead, you are out of luck!

Have not monitored it.

I put a piece of aluminum next to the muffler on the inside to protect the shed.

Fan is an 8”x8” powered louver fan.

No idea how hot is to hot.

I’ll post some more pics when it stops monsooning here.
