I'd feel better about it since it drives. I'd assume that the wheels don't wobble but I'd ask. I'd ask for a video walk around of it. I'd definitely want a heck of a deal to even consider it. Why isn't the seller fixing it?

Owner said they had it to dealer 3 times since they bought it new in 2008 and only to change fluids.
I asked why not fix it too. Response was they don't want to mess with it. He said he could easily sell it for $12k with the $800 in parts dealer said it would take to fix it.
Looked more like $900+ from my quick search but if the owner doesnt change his own oil im sure he wouldnt replace all these broken parts himself either and who knows what the dealer would charge him labor to replace all the broken parts.
Either something they aren't saying or maybe a tractor or working on one just isn't their cup of tea would be my guess or they would have more than 8 hours per year on it.
They were asking $10k for it but recently dropped to $8k. I was thinking $7k tops and now second guessing maybe that's even too high. But it does have almost no hours and garaged all but 8 hours per year.
There is another bx2350 for sale about 40 minutes or so away asking $9500 with 800 hours. I'm tempted to go look at that one just for heck of it and see how low they'd go on it. It's been for sale for over a month.

$7k + is a good number.

Maybe you should expand your search. It is possible that a smaller tractor is more useful to you but you can get various compact tractors with loaders and 400 hours on he clock, like an LS or a Kioti (good tractors) in the 30 + HP range for $15k or less - I saw an LS G3038 for $12k in LA. I had a B21 and really loved that tractor but when I sold it to the buyer of my ranch for what I paid for it seven years before, I was not prepared to pay $10k more for a B26 with twelve fewer horses and three fewer implements. I LOVE Kubotas but you know, if it's orange, bring green.

My first CUT was a grey market 15hp Shibaura. That's because I had a 15hp budget. I still had a smile a mile wide, and I did a ton of work with that. That was followed buy a 24hp John Deere, then a 33hp New Holland, until I landed on a 40 hp New Holland. My point is, that budget often drives where you start.

I'm not set on kubota just mainly look for them. My budget is $5-7k tops. Must have hydrostatic, 3 point, FEL, mower deck, and turf tires. Lighter the better as I plan to use my snowmobile trailer to haul it back and forth to my land 7 miles away. Any more than 2k lbs on it and it's too risky for the short trip monthly or so.

He's smoking crack on $12k I just purchase a brand new 2380 FEL, MMM for $14k. $5k tops for a wrecked tractor. You have to consider your risk which is high, a crack that may not begin leaking or spreading or other damage that may not surface until after you become the owner. You could get stuck with a $7k tractor that needs $4k in repairs then it won't seem like a bargain.

Your two New Holland CUTs were likely manufactured by LS anyway - the Workmaster 35 and 40 are simply LS G3033 and G3038s with a couple of little tweaks and a different FEL. Many of the CUTs over the years that carry green, orange, yellow, blue and red have been manufactured by others than than the name on the hood.

Agreed on the delusional thinking at $12k. Most don't want a wrecked tractor and those who do buy it to make some bucks after making the repairs - can't fix it and make a buck if you pay $12k for the wreck.
