It all boils down to money. The L47 is roughly $20K more than I care to spend. My budget for this is approximately $35K.

Okay, I think we were just making recommendations off your intended use.

See Jeff reply for answer to your original question.

The L4060 with backhoe and FEL MSRP's at approximately $41K. If I decide that's what I want would try for 15% off. Might get it, or maybe not, but it will be close.
We are in the process of applying for what TN calls a Greenbelt program. Once we get it we should be sales tax exempt when purchasing products that will be used to maintain our property

I considered heavy duty Rotary Cutter options for eight weeks or so. During the time I dawdled, steel price increases worked their way through the supply chain and the list price and net dealer price of the Land Pride Rotary Cutter I decided was appropriate increased 9%. Land Pride is 100% owned by Kubota.

This is a inflationary period for machinery.

The best thing in my favor right now is time. Can't control if prices go up but I can control which rig I buy. Would rather take the time and learn and educate myself then make the wisest choice. December is the earliest I might buy and that could be a slow month for sales as well.

I just got a CK3510 HST - new - with rear remotes, loaded tires, cruise, link pedal, floor mat, mirror, arm rest, quick attach loader, hand grabs on fenders (not sure if kubota includes this or not), 6 years no interest no money down and insurance and 6 years of warranty...22, 451 out the door.
Insurance was $940 for 6 years, mandatory with a loan.
Options were TOTAL, $642. I think kubota wants $900 for rear remotes alone.

It's a beast, LOVE it.
More hyd flow, lots cheaper, had a particulate filter but no DEF.

ALL dealers are about an hour away, so it didn't matter.
My short list of tractors to buy includes the Kioti 3510 or a Kubota. The tractor will be purchased with a FEL and backhoe. It will not be used for mowing. Main uses will be moving wood, grading our gravel road (500 feet) and digging out stumps.
Are the features on the L3560 worthwhile?

PS:I know nothing about tractors and never owned one before.

Case in point: I like armrests. Armrests are standard on both B and Grand L models but not available, even as options on L models.

SDT

I also like arm rests. My MX5800 did not have them so I ordered a pair that fit a Grand L series tractor from the parts department. I was told by a mechanic they would fit the MX as well as the base model L tractors. Cost $190 and took 10 minutes to install. Well worth it IMO.

I agree with other posters that the features of the Grand L's are well worth the money. The arm rests don't have to be a deal breaker though.

Visited the Kubota dealer yesterday and briefly talked prices and was quoted a "rough ball park" of $37K for the HST model with backhoe. Sat down and looked around, played with a few controls. Seems to be a good fit for me. Am still shooting for $35K and now will look for comparable Kioti and Mahindra models.

Time will tell but must admit the L4060 is everything I am looking for.

I am bias towards Kubota. If I were to consider another brand, it would not be Mahindra just based on several stories of poor manufacturer support here on TBN.

I would consider Kioti IF there was a quality dealer near me.
Currently the nearest Kioti dealer is 80 miles away (Kubota is 6 miles) and they would not respond to my inquiries.

Wagne223's post is well taken. Before you decide on a brand, consider the source of service and parts. Also, how long the dealer has been in business and the experience level of their mechanics.

For example, my neighbor bought a Mahindra 2 years ago. The nearest dealer is an hour's drive away. The dealership doesn't stock many parts and my neighbor had to wait 2 weeks to get an oil filter!
