pruning threads - please let us know

there was a political post.

I posted after that discussing my experience at Mt Rushmore.

Reading it today several posts are gone, and Mossroad references them

Anytime someone starts a post with something like "I probably shouldn't post this here" or "at the risk of getting this thread closed", it should be obvious that the little voice in your head that told you that was probably right.... so don't post it. Just shake your head and move along, or, go over to the Front Porch or Unfriendly Politics and start a new thread on the subject.

I fully recognize and applaud your right to delete offending posts but could y'all at least tell us?

Many of us are old and your making us wonder if our memory is failing.

It's almost as bad as "false news".

Something it often sent to the person who posted in the thread, but notification is generally not left on the thread so that it doesn't stir up more contention...

Then it wasn't my memory failing, lol.

One of my posts got axed because i referenced the post. I expected it to go.
Hopefully the person who posted got a message from a mod. Maybe tbn needs a time out feature... Lol

Yeah I thought it had to be a typo.

I think Moss does a good job. A job that I don't want.

I don't always agree with him but we aren't dating so I don't have to.

I bought a can of brush on pruning sealer just yesterday...stuff looks and smells like runny roof cement.

I worked on my pruning shears this morning. Been fighting them for a couple years. Amazing what a good sharpening and tightening did!!!

My wife's parents are late 70's and 90. I was over there cleaning up some flower beds for them and asked if they had a little hand pruner for cutting a maybe 1/4" mulberry tree sapling. Mom brings out something like this! (somewhere Tim Allen is grunting in approval).
