We have a EA 72" rotary mower and like it a lot. We previously had a heavy duty Bush Hog 72" mower and a LandPride 60". Of all of them I like the EA the most. Very sturdily built. However, all of them are good mowers.
Woods makes three versions of their brush bull cutters, the heavy duty 5' BB6000x weighs a little over 1300 lbs, the 5' BB600X weighs 1,000lbs., and the 5' BB60X weighs 600lbs. Quite a difference between metal content between the 6000 model and the 60.
I picked up a 72" bush hog, used. Came with the orginal reciept..from christmas 1989. It was $1790 new.
So it's 30 years old - and perfect. Some surface rust, some wear on the lower sides from draging on the ground for 30 years. Otherwise, perfection. Model 256 - medium duty if I recall.
Had a king kutter before this (48", diff tractor). It was good, but no comparison - this one will run over anything and just not miss a beat, chews up 1 and 1.5" trees as if they were grass.
pic of it on my way home.

THIS... ^^^^Woods.Bushog,Brown are the toughest I have seen. EA cutter is a good deal.
50 years on a bb60 or a 5ft land pride?? Lol
Not..
Bush Hog or Deere MX are about as rugged as you can get in 5ft mower. Never saw the everything mower.
I guess you left the house thinking on the small side but found a whooper and got creative on as how to get it home.![]()
