Just bought a Kubota BX23S, with box scraper and Land Pride 4 ft brush mower to knock down the tall grass and saplings on just under 1.5 acres. I had ran old tractors and dozers back in the 70's clearing woods for a horse pasture. Pretty cool work when your 14-16, even if you wern't paid. Really wanted a bigger B series, but so far, the BX is working great. My wife and daughter have found they love running it around moving firewood with the loader, and a I have been enjoying the backhoe with the mechanical thumb much more that I thought I would. Might still do a hydraulic like Paul Short did, but so far it is picking up logs for sawing, and surgical extraction of saplings that looked like the brush mower wouldn't like. I did add the BXpanded belly pan, and picked up their big stabilizer feet. Going to get some loading dock bumpers and drill my original feet for them to use on asphalt or concrete.
