Received my PL-mini Valkryie today. Quickly hooked it on to my MP9 (full size) and am comparing to the PL-2. Initial thoughts...

2. Not crazy about the on/off switch. Either side operation but you have to push down vs. 'in'. I like the 'in' buttons much better on the PL-2

I installed a PL-mini on my full size M&P 40. It happens that my front thumb is perfectly positioned for the push down operation, and I think I like it.

my M&P40.... just may be my least liked piece in the safe...always feels clunky and unbalanced in my hand..

Just the opposite for me - but I have always had a problem finding handguns that feel substantial enough.

I thought I'd join in the fun :). I like them all but the old Russian bolt guns are my favorite. I have ARs and AKs as well but I like these the most.

I've always had a preference for bolt action rifles. Love the old Mausers and Springfields.

Nice collection you have there, stickman61.

I've got a couple of Russians in my milsurp collection. A 1928 91/30(Boris) and a 1943 M38(Natasha.) Also recently acquired a 1932 Nagant revolver for that side of things. My focus is mostly Swiss, but I do like me some Mausers and Mosins... 20180727_161544.jpeg20180715_182045.jpeg20180614_173517.jpeg

That's a nice looking collection! I have a Nagant revolver as well but haven't expanded into much other than the Russian. I'm going to the poorhouse if I add much more .

I hear you. I went on a Swiss expedition this winter, and my bankroll has a serious dent now. Ah well, at least my wife can cash in once I croak...

Picked up a Ruger Super Redhawk in 454 Casull a week or so ago. I loved Ruger's target gray, so I couldnt leave it sitting there. 454 makes this quite the giggle generator. Puts a smile on the face of everyone who pulls the trigger! I hate buying leather goods commercially, so sitting down to the leather bench for a way to carry it was obligatory... 20180713_183113.jpeg20180713_183152.jpeg20180720_090502.jpeg20180720_111136.jpeg20180720_142156.jpeg20180722_140905.jpeg20180722_141151.jpeg20180723_173352.jpeg

After 7 months I finally got the call that my Suppressor tax stamp was in and I could come and pick up my Silencerco sparrow. This is my first suppressor and I'm having a blast, I'm sure the neighbors probably appreciate it too. I first cleaned the can after about 200 rounds, not enjoyable but not terrible either.
Today I cleaned it after about 500 rounds, not fun, solvent and scraping, has to be a better way.
I'm researching cleaning, the dip method looks like it works well, just not a fan of the chemicals envolved.
What methods are the veteran suppressor users going with?
I have a range on my property and enjoy shooting quiet often, so I'm in need of a better cleaning method.

Thanks
Mike
