Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

They also make great wheel kits for portable generators.

Yes! I have my welder (HF MIG-180) on one. That welder works better kept close to the floor, because its wire-push motor isn't very strong and the first owner replaced its 6 ft stinger with a 10 ft unit. Keeping the welder low minimizes the curve from table height to where the cable runs across the floor.

I forgot about that. I have one under my 90A Flux Wire Welder.

If you're planning on using the HD metal wheels rollers, I found that greasing before installation made a big difference. The only grease mine seemed to have was a small amount of a whitish substance.

Ought to grease anything and everything from HF assuming it takes it! The $9 grinders are a perfect example. Break open the bearing shaft casing and wipe out the 'whiteish substance' and pack with real grease before using.

What do you suppose that whitish stuff is? Must be a grease of some sort? Maybe pork fat?

I've had a couple of those small wooden dollies for several years. Moved everything from music gear to pianos to a gun safe with them. They seem to be holding up well over time.

Maybe China is exporting their hazardous waste? :D

I came to that hypothesis after owners of the early Chinese tractors - Jinma etc - posted here about unrecognizable shipping fluids they drained and replaced before starting the rig.

The poly cart has already paid for itself in convenience. Prepping the interior for new windows. Instead of hauling everything with me on my old tool belt (not as light as it used to be) I just roll it along on the cart. I have seen more and more tradesmen's trucks with one of these things piled on the back, definitely worth having.

That's what I was thinking. They seem to eat everything but the oink and not much is left that's any good.

He shoots and scores! I just picked up 7 of the solar rope lights from Harbor freight with the coupons and got my free tarp to throw on some firewood.1536349394779.jpeg1536349449966.jpeg2810_ITEM_SOLAR_ROPE_LIGHT_1534809582.5402.jpeg15_FREE_5_FT._6__x_7_FT._6__ALL_PURPOSE_WEATHER_RESISTANT_TARP_1531610139.7175.jpeg

I took a couple of the small wooden dollies and used the casters on two moveable shelving units I made. Seem to work well and cost less than buying the casters separately.

Got some of the solar ropes up at the camp all ready. Tomorrow night is the grand opening of the newly renovated beer camp for fall of 2018.20180907_174710.jpeg20180907_174701.jpeg20180907_174725.jpeg
