What is the best way to determine if TBN is down?

I tried ping and for a while - no response, then for about an hour I was getting 54ms times, then finally about the time of this writing TBN is back.
Is there any alternate website where we can figure out if it's us or TBN?

Well, if every website but TBN loads, you can probably assume it's TBN.

Yeah, we had a hardware failure on one of the drives that does some non-important stuff. But it took down the rest. So that seems to be sorted. We're keeping an eye on it for now.

I have in the past had web sites become inaccessible due to something stored in the cookies on my system becoming corrupted. I could tell because at that time I was running two systems and could get to the site with one system but not the other. The fix required clearing of the cookies, which was a pain.

I am on the lawn mower forum, a sister site to this. Found out there that this site is down. PM'ed the Admin.

Glad the site is back up. My routine was interrupted but I survived. I needed to install and wire-up several LED outdoor wallpacks before the snow flies tonite or tomorrow.

One site I used to visit that went down and never came back up. I finally read in another forum that it had been hacked. It appears that the site owner just gave up.
