I thought he said this doesnt replace the 7060, yet, its a premium step up. Wider cab, conveniece features. Id love to have one for the buddy seat, my 5 year old would like it too, but I wouldnt want a glass roof or the premium msrp PLUS probably.

Anyone have any updates on the new M4?

Looks like the M 7060 upgrades are to compete better with the larger cab offerings on the New Holland/Case series and the newer global Massey platforms. Larger cab, buddy seat, etc. Good move IMHO. The cost savings on the smaller L series is to compete better with other manufacturers that are lower in cost to Kubota. Again a good move IMHO. Don't understand the logic though in leaving the mirrors off and the mirror frame still intact. Sorta like buying a suit without buttons.

Here is a good bit of info on the new M4002 Series. I'm not sure why they call it the 4002, when the two versions are M4060 and M4072. I'm liking what I see with the gears on the 72hp version (picking fastest speed for bushhoging. Check out this link. I could find a bit of info on the Spain (Spanish) site and then found out they have english for the UK :)

I just now would like to have it available here already and buy it...I'm guessing maybe they want to clear out the 2018 inventory before bringing it? I really like the MF 4707 cab size and set up- It's just a little heavier than I need. Also somewhat like the JD 5075e, but I just like the idea of having proven Kubota reliability assuming its similarly priced to the 2018. I would think they need to so they can stay competitive, but will be interesting to see.

I searched quite a bit after finding these links with the info. Our Kubota USA site doesn't show either the M7060 nor M4072..

It basically looks like the current version except a larger cab. I doubt the front fender guards will make their way here..who knows, maybe so- I like the look with the Trelleborg tires.

I see you have a NH T4.75. I do like the functionality of the tractor, but they were quoting me in the upper 40s while the MF4707 is mid 40s along with the JD 5075E and the Kubota M7060. I know someone who had one that had lots of issues and got the dealer or manufacturer? to buy it back. He went with a used M5 kubota and really likes it. Just was curious how you like it.

Just watched the video and learned some info on the M4-071(?)...I should have before I posted! Still interesting if Kubota is going to provide the M7060 in the USA, why not show it on the USA Website? Sounds also like if this really is a 'deluxe' more expensive version, I guess I should go ahead and buy a MF 4707 :)

Anyone heard anything on price yet?

Thanks!

Hey Bigpuddie

How are you liking your MF 4707? Is it rusting much? One that I demo'd had a bit of rust for being new on some spots. Just made me wonder if cheaper steel is being used in China? Otherwise I really liked it.. What size bushhog do you run (or rotary cutter) assuming you do? I ran just a 6ft on the 4708 and there was no issue. Was curious if the extra $ on the 4708 is worth it.. Do you know if the Def is more problematic than the simpler emissions of the 4707? I know it's one of the only sized out there that is ok. I also was considering the JD 5075E, but this MF is more like the M in the JD.

Do you run it much on grass or pastures and notice compaction? I noticed some in our fields, granted it's been a somewhat damp fall but just was curious since I'll be using it to bushhog a good bit and want to keep the grass nice. I just may be doing some 4x4's or 4x5s in the future which is why I'm looking this big/size. Thanks!

Looks to me like the two models are M4062 and M4072 - at least that's what your second web link says.

It's definitely a handsome looking machine. Makes me wish I had a farm instead of 1 acre of lawn - I'm already stretching to justify a B2601, I think an M would be a step too far. :)

So far, I love it. Fit and finish is perfect. Absolutely no rust. I pull a Rhino Turbo 96 mower...perfect match. The 4708 isn't worth the extra money. If you need bigger go 4710. No compaction issues...very wide tires. No regrets whatsoever 20181026_120043.jpeg
