I've been looking at a new Boomer 40 cab tractor with a loader. I like the tractor but not sure about the loader because it sticks out the front so far. Afraid it'll take up too much garage space. Does anybody have one or something similar that could measure from the bucket to say the three point hitch? Why does New Holland make the loader so long?

My 3045 Boomer is about as long as a VW Jetta loader to three point hitch. I have 530? hours on it and it has performed well for what I do around my place. Its a Little less then a truck length with the rear mount snow blower on it. What twenty odd feet with the blower?

I just picked up a Boomer 40 I'll try to remember to get you a measurement tomorrow. The loader is designed for visibility of the bucket from what I was told. The Workmaster loader will fit if you like that design.

15ft from bucket edge to the 3pt pins.

I just purchased a Boomer 3050 and always thought the same thing. My assumption so far is that the nose is much shorter than most by far so it appears the loader is way out there. Maybe even the wheel base has an effect too. I just measured my Kubota M5140, which is a utility and is a much bigger (heavier) and more capable tractor than the Boomer for lifting and such (size difference in avatar).....That measures 16' front bucket tip to 3pt pins. So my point is for as much as it looks like it's sticking way out there, I think it's just a design difference. Haven't used the loader yet, but have used my brother in law's (3040) and it will be fine for what I'm looking for. Happy with the purchase so far. The Super Suite Cab and Blower combo is heaven for me!! CVT so far is great with no problems (learning curve for sure)....hopefully that holds true for years to come!

I had to move up the idle lever to 12 or 15 to get her going smooth in second and third but my 3045 has been great

I only have the high and low. I see the 3 speed, is that an upgrade for my '13? Seems good so far with the 2 speed, just don't want to be missing something.

Yours is the upgrade Lol

I was having some stalling issues until I increased rpm from my idle. Same lever that sets rpm for the pto Tractor idles at 1000 but likes 1200 to 1500 for pulling away in the upper speed ranges on my 2010, 3045 boomer.

Sorry if I steered you wrong
