Nowadays anyone on the market to buy a tractor will encounter difficulties in knowing where does this tractor come from.

"Made in EU", "assembled in EU", "proudly made in US", etc.....

Have a look on these new models sold by the italian manufacturer Antonio Carraro who is famous for its lowprofile isodiametric tractors :

The new models Carraro K5, K6, and K7.

Proudly made in Italy ?

Enjoy !

I would not. I own/have owned a couple pieces of grey market stuff and the biggest problem is no dealer will sell you anything to go on the machine, or they could get in big trouble with their mother ship. And to be clear, its not so much they won't sell you a part, but they will not/cannot look things up etc. And finding a parts manual for grey market equipment could be and is difficult.

I don't think anyone claimed that they are grey market, but rather just rebranded Kukje 20 series units to fit into an established brand's lineup and happen to be grey in colour. This isn't the first time Kukje has done this. At least one other time comes to mind with the McCormick branded Kukje models.

I've had gray market motorcycles and the only way that works is if you have a parts fische/list so you an order by number the parts that are common with an official import model, and a sympathetic dealer in a country where that model was sold so you can order the model-specific parts.

Gray colored Bransons would be fine with me. I'm not a huge fan of red though the Branson's red has grown on me.

I don't think painting a tractor gray is what qualifies a tractor as being a gray market tractor. I don't care what color my tractor is as long as it isn't green :).
On the subject of gray market tractors though; I owned a red "gray market" 28 hp Yanmar for 15 years and 1500 hrs and never had problems getting parts. It didn't need many parts as it was a fantastic little tractor. My neighbor has owned that tractor for the last 3 years and it is still running fine. I think parts availability depends on the model of gray market tractor you have and your willingness to take a little time to find what you need. It usually isn't that hard as people think to find parts for common gray market tractors. Common things like air and oil filters were available at NAPA. Outfits like Hoye tractors and others specialize in helping you find gray market tractor parts. I have found that most independent repair shops will work on them if you need that. If you are the kind of guy that needs to take your tractor to the dealer to change your oil, then no, a gray market tractor isn't something you would want. On an older compact tractor, if something major happens like the engine blows up, then it doesn't matter if it is a gray market or not, it is probably not economically practical to fix it. You could probably buy a replacement for less money than it would cost to repair it.

They look pretty good in grey!

It is a little odd though, since all the other Antonio Carraro tractors are red.

Interesting. I prefer Branson red however.

Carraro and Antonio Carraro are actually two different brands/companies that have nothing to do with each other.
