Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Is it possible that some of my blue tarps are evaporating? I have a couple in the barn, covering equipment that have been there since day one. The last couple of years I've noticed they are considerably lighter than others and are definitely getting thinner. Sounds crazy but has anyone else experienced similar?

Yes, they do seem to be get thinner. We use them a lot for throwing and dragging prunings, yard debris, etc. and we wear them out fast. If they are outside long, they deteriorate.

I have 25 of the free 5x7 tarps in the basement plus the ones outside in use, and I make them work for my wood stacks. But I plan a winter out of them and if I can also get the summer.... I'm all good. Being free, it makes them worth it .

If you want a tarp that will last a while, upgrade to the HD silver ones. But at that price, go on Amazon and order the silver Grizzly Tarps. I've used these and found them to be the best bang for the buck in tarps.

Follow this link, then adjust the size and quantity to your desire.

I'm going to try your advice for a Grizzly tarp next time.

Forget HF's silver tarps. Photo below.

Text copied from the post where I first showed this photo: ..."rotted from sunlight. An edge tore away from its border before 6 months, now at 8 months it disintegrated at multiple points. The perimeter remains attached. It didn't tear out any grommets which would indicate wind stress. It tore effortlessly taking it down."

After I took it down, I used the remnants as a ground cloth for outdoor painting. The tarp was so fragile that it tore some more just getting it spread out.

Somewhere in this thread, someone laid out the heirarchy of quality levels between HF's various brands. I can't find it now. Can someone help me out? I'm interested in the welders as well as in cordless tools and hand tools.

I wish HF would print a little summary on their catalogs, or have some info on their web site about this.

Don't forget guys, the Braun 63958 bar light, the greatest light in the world.... Is $19.99 right now.

There are at least 5 25% coupons on HFQDB, you can buy at least 5 big money, covered items, using 5 of the 25% off coupons starting tomorrow through Tuesday and save big. The big $700 hydraulic press.... The mill.... and a metric crap ton of other things! Read the exclusions though!
Read the bar code numbers! You can not use the same bar code numbered coupon twice.

Never forget your free item!20181229_151343.jpeg25_percent_off_1545964166.2237.jpeg25_percent_off_1546011753.4518.jpeg25_percent_off_1546010731.3402.PNG25_percent_off_1545880867.1416.jpeg25_percent_off_1545865054.6984.jpeg

^^ But remember, you can only use 1 %off coupon per visit.
Are you sure? Red Beard, The Den of Tools on YouTube made a video yesterday saying that you can use each of the 25% coupons on a different item.... And then use a 20%, then a free item.
