Hello All,
Love the site!
Been lurking on the site for a while and have learned quite a bit but still plenty to learn for sure!
I'm considering purchasing my first tractor and believe it will be an MX5200 HST 4wd with FEL.
Working with the dealer on pricing and right now we're at $31,525 for the tractor, loader with 3rd function and 72" Terra Force grapple.
Does this seem like a fair price for this rig?
Would like to have rear remotes for top and tilt but may have to add that later..., dealer wants about 2500 so that may have to wait.
Thanks in advance for any input / suggestions!

You can "build" and price any Kubota tractor on their website less about 10-15% for final price.I know the third function is about $1,000 installed don't know on the grapple(check on their site for a price).
All in all doesn't sound too bad;nice choice. We have had great luck with our(4) Kubotas.

Florida is very liberal with sales tax exemptions for ag and forestry equipment.

Basically, you self declare whether you fit one of the exempt categories.

I am ag sales tax exempt and my main work is trail and community-common maintenance, which includes tree work, in a large residential development.

If you will be doing considerable bucket work, consider the L2296 SSQA 72" Heavy-Duty, Round-Back Bucket option.

As noted, go to the Kubota website and use the build your tractor to find the retail price and then work for a 10 to 15% discount. Read up on grapples in the forums. While your tractor can handle a 6' grapple, I would recommend one a 5' foot. However, it depends on your intended use. Two rear remotes for $2500 seems high. I'm thinking I paid about 1/2 that on mine, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the input!
I'll look into the HD bucket and 5' grapple vs 6'.
Would a 5' standard bucket be a better option than the 6' standard?
I think the $2500 was for the 2 remotes and cylinders for top and tilt, does that seem high even with the cylinders?
Thanks!

The HD round-back bucket is a nice upgrade;very stout;I would think a 6' with that tractor. In a pinch you can run your third function to the back to run one cylinder(Hoses).

Buy the HD RB Bucket in whatever width the standard bucket comes in.
(My error in suggesting 60" rather than 72".)

My Kubota dealer keeps the simple Florida sales tax exempt forms in inventory.

Made an offer of $33k out the door for MX5200 HST with FEL, bucket, 3rd function, Terra Force grapple with 2 lids, 2 rear remotes with top/tilt cylinders.
Not sure if this is a great deal but seems to be in line with quotes from nearby dealers.
Still waiting to hear back.
