When did Deere ever own Yanmar.I understood that my 770 was made there in the late 90s. The area rep said they simply called it their Yanmar, and indeed the engine was (I believe JD owned Yanmar at the time) but I wonder if they just put the wheels on there. Who knows? So much misinformation. Some people that don't own Deere like to insist that Deere doesn't make this and don't make that.
Loaders are a totally different animal than tractors. I live 30 miles from the loader plant that builds about an estimated 75 percent of all loaders on all colors of tractors 75 hp or less with only a few exceptions and most of them being the south korean models that maintain their own brand name. No matter what the loader says the builder plate will tell you who made it. Now that plate may say A-lo, ansung, bush hog or kyorker, but same plant here in Northeast Tn. built it.
But the tractor, Well it's assembled in the USA but I would say confidently it came here in a crate unless it't at least 40 years old or more.
