I love Whidbey Island. I vacation there for three weeks most Septembers.

My father was stationed at NAS Whidbey during WW2, after two years on Tarawa, where as a Chief Commisaryman he fed the shore Navy and Marines.

I was a Kiddy Cruise CT(M) from 1965 - 1968.

There is an 'all-brands' traveling tractor mechanic on Whidbey Island that services the Ferguson tractor of my cousin in Coupeville. My cousin says the itinerant mechanic is excellent.

Welcome from Kitsap. WA bunch keeps growing. Are you on your second career or just enjoying retirement? Being a retired Seabee, construction has been my game all my life. Currently remodeling our master bath. Went from E1 to UTC then Warrant W4. Tractoring is just a hobby now. So where do your military proclivities lie other than E9?

Welcome to the forum. I too was stationed at Whidbey island was an aviation electrician (AE), working on the A-6 from 1988-1992. Enjoy your new tractor.

Welcome to the forum - I did some work at Boeing Pain Field in the late 80's and fell in love with the Puget Sound area, went back in the mid 90's on vacation and was disappointed with the urban sprawl and gridlock traffic, hopefully Whidbey Island has not been as over run as the Seattle area, truly some beautiful country.
