Problem with 3rd rear hydraulic remote

Forgot one other thing. You added the third valve to the top of the stack?

I'm having the same problem. The new spool was added to the stack on the last side. Not he first but after the installed spools. No flow through the spools at all. Removed the new spool and everything works fine. Should the new spool be the first in line?

Totally depends on type of spools in the stack. Sounds like your new spool needs to be first.

Spools are open center stacking spools. I would not think it should make a difference which order they are stacked in since when they are all in neutral there should be flow through the spools. In my case there is not flow at all. But removing just the new spool results in a flow.

These spools are Kubota spools. The new one is a BL7373.

Wondering if there may be a PB plug installed ?

GreenMtns, I haven’t installed mine yet so it was easy to take pics and describe what I saw. the valve with the long hex bolt in the pic is a bl7373 detent valve. The one with the handle is the standard spring center valve. On the 5 ports that have fluid go through them, I can see daylight through everyone but the middle hole with them being in the centered/ neutral position. The standard valve is the same way. I was wondering if yours looked the same or if something was blocking one of the ports. If you can’t there is something blocking the port making it and the other 2 valves not work. It could be an o-ring on the internal rod that goes through the 5 ports. If you need me to look at anything else on the valve bodies, just let me know

I have been following this thread when I stop buy which is not every day, so I might have missed it, but is there a reason you are not contacting the supplier of the valve section, and telling them you want to return the section because it does not work?

Maybe if you do so they may have some suggestions...if not, return it and do what next? Not sure about that part...:)

When I put 4 rear remotes on my tractor I did not consider which order they might need to be in, and they work fine. Don't expect luck was in my favor. Seems like that is the way it should be.

I just checked the spool and it is like you said. In the neutral position you can just see daylight in all but the middle port. So I do not know why this spool just screws up the system when installed. Remove it and all's well.
Since all spools show like that in neutral it should not make any difference in the order they are stacked I would think. I neutral the oil should flow right through them in any order.

Hi Henro

It is going back for this reason and that BL7373 is a Detent Valve (Not Self Canceling) which is not what I need because I do not run wood spliters or other implements that need a constant flow of fluid.

Thanks for the chatch.

You just added a word to my limited vocabulary!
