Yep, I smoked in all those places. My boss and I had to fly to other cities several times, and he had quit smoking before I ever knew him, but since I smoked, we always rode in the smoking section of the airplane. And when the city decided that every division had to designate one location in which smoking would be allowed, I designated my own office. I very seldom shut my office door anyway and just told all the smokers they were welcome to come in for a smoke anytime.
That sounds like my first job out of college, we shared an office building with the Maine Forest Service. The entire building would get so filled with smoke that it literally made it hard to see across the room. I would turn on the ventilation fan, and just as it got to a more tolerable level the secretary would shut it off.

I think I read all the posts,, and I do not think I saw it mentioned,,
to quit an addiction,, go to the doc, and get meds!!

I quit nicotine and alcohol on my own,, but, I got addicted to hard candy when quitting nicotine,
I went to my doc,, he gave me the stuff that is normally used for quitting nicotine,,
IT WORKED!!

I was lucky, (the doc had warned me there might be some side effects) absolutely no side effects for me,,,

Wellbutrin (Bupropion) Side Effects

My doc said everyone that he has prescribed it for has had excellent results,,,

Do not suffer, let your doc help you,, it was a miracle for me,,, :cool2:

I actually just watched a documentary about HEALING on Leftflicks. I agree with them. Short of surgery or a physical injury, the medical industry is not your friend. You are your best friend and the healing powers YOU yourself have. Not some entity and not some Doctor. STOP giving your power away!

I believe the best way to cure addiction is by hating it. Hate it with a passion! Anyone who waits until there's a problem it's usually too late.
Of course for many prayer is good also, knowing you're not alone.

A good argument against universal healthcare. The rest of us taxpayers shouldn稚 foot the bill for your bad habits.
Actually, we still do. Who do you think covers all of the bills which hospitals have to "eat"?

In my spiritual explorations, HATE and FEAR are amoung the absolute worst and destructive of human conditions.

What you HATE, you attract. No one should know that better than me!

Didn't you know that everything is a disease these days? They just included "Video Gaming" as an addiction and a disease. Go Figure!

Anyone that believes that any type of addiction is a disease is only lying to themselves...addiction is nothing but a weakness...!

Or an inability to fight what the EGO wants, in the case of addiction, pleasure/stimulation. Or physical pain from withdrawal. Same thing, I guess.
