Just bought a 6075 a couple weeks ago.

So far about the only issue I've had at 30 hours is having to keep inflating the air ride seat...

Some days are worse than others. One day I have to air it up every few minutes, and other times it'll hold air a couple of hours before it starts bouncing my butt off the hard bottom.

Any ideas on what's going on, or what I can do? (I'm in the peak of using this tractor now, and don't have a couple of weeks to take it to the service dept and wait for them to fix something. maybe in late fall..)

Thanks for any input or experience with this.

Guess nobody has the issue (or maybe not the seat.. )

Yesterday was one of the slow leak days. Didn't have to air it up too many times.

After I get some more info on the remedy or fix, I'll post it up, just so there's a reference.

A spray bottle with some dishwashing soap solution will show the leaks. It has to be either the air bag or hose connections. I would bet it is a loose hose connection or maybe even the shrader valve or whatever(where you put in air). I dont have an air ride seat but I would sure love to have one on my lawnmower.

Thanks Gary.

I'll have the dealer address it when I can do without the tractor for awhile.
It's so hot now, I sure don't want to tackle the chore myself... ;) (Unless it's an easy fix, that is. :) )

Check the air lines around the seat and the switch/valve. Had a line keep coming loose on the air ride seat in the Mpower85. Sounds like a line that isn’t fitting tight and depending on ride height may have enough movement to cause it to leak more at times than others. That would be the first thing I would look at.

Thanks for the info!

I have the tractor in the shop now, and they are supposed to be addressing the issue. I'll post what the issue was when I find out. Dealer told me another guy recently bought a tractor that's doing the same thing as well.

One of the the injectors took a dump at 50 hours. Wish the seat was all.. but electronics can last 5 minutes or 50 years..

Is it possible - a NEW feature on your new Mahindra. The joys of a carnival seat ride........... I cast my vote for a loose hose connection.

BTW - that's a FINE looking tractor.

Updated by the service manager today.

It is a plastic to brass valve fitting that was the issue.

Factory installers evidently stripped the plastic by over-tightening into the brass fitting.

Here's where things get funky...

Instead of ordering the 25 cent plastic part, Mahindra doesn't support work done on the seat like that.

They are sending a complete new seat. :confused3:

Nothing surprises me anymore as far as how companies do things. Common sense went out the window years ago.

He also updated me on the engine issue. Turns out it's not the injector causing the cylinder to miss. It's the ECU (computer). The ECU lost it's memory of that cylinder injector.

A new ECU has to be installed, but it has to be programmed for that particular tractor by Mahindra before they ship it... More craziness.

I guess this is where we are with about everything now.

ROCKINBAR - no, no, no - - replacing the entire seat because of a stripped 25 cent plastic fitting is not crazy. CRAZY is replacing the entire tractor because of a stripped 25 cent plastic fitting. You just have to get in the right mind set........... DUH!!

If they did that, I'd HAVE a tractor to be driving around doing work with...

This one's about worn out at 50 hours on it... :irked:
